Regrettably the Tanzanian Government is no longer renewing Work and Residency Visas so my work for Foxes has had to come to an end. I will miss Katavi particularly as it is one of the last remaining places you can feel like you are in a wilderness area. Few people venture so far into the remote western areas of Tanzania and with only three established safari camps in the National Park, the third largest in Tanzania, you can spend a day in the park and often not see another vehicle. A truly special privileged.

As much of my time in the low-season was devoted to training the guides from the various Foxes Safari Camps, we intend to keep the training course going each year. Low season will offer a three month window to keep the program going.
